Let this not be about me
Let me just be a chapter to the story
A character that comes and goes into action
I need not to shine
I need not to have everything and everyone revolve around me
Take back your staring looks
And allow me to move in the shadows
I should not make you laugh or have you break into tears
Don’t pre-occupy your mind with me
And I won’t feel the need to fill the room in which I appear
Let me not wait my turn to talk instead have me learn how to listen
